Dr. Bijaya Laxmi Panigrahi, took charge of COE, on 12th August, 2024.
She is a Professor of School of Mathematics, Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur, India since 2023 and Associate Professor in this same place since 2020. Prior to joining this institution, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Sambalpur University, Sambalpur, India from 2012 to 2020. Dr. Panigrahi was awarded with her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2011. Dr. Panigrahi qualified in the national GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for Mathematics in the year 2007 and received the MHRD Fellowship in her Ph.D. time period from 2007 to 2011. She received Post-graduate and M.Phil degree from Sambalpur University in the Year 2004 and 2005, respectively. She is the first class first in the PG program and received Gold-Medal for that. She completed her Graduation program in 2002 and positioned as Best-tenth under Sambalpur University. Her research interests are Numerical solutions of Linear and Non-linear Integral equations, ill-posed problems, Eigen-value problems. Furthermore, she has an impressive track record of publishing numerous research papers in prestigious international journals and conferences.
