Mr. Sachin C. Pujar completed his Master of Arts in Anthropology from Pondicherry Central University in 2016. He was awarded the esteemed Prof. Indera P. Singh Gold Medal for his academic performance in 2016. Prior to his appointment at Gangadhar Meher University, he served as a Research Investigator at the Karnataka State Tribal Research Institute in Mysuru, where he conducted extensive ethnographic research among tribal communities in Karnataka. He is presently pursuing a PhD from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, with an emphasis on the effects of nature-based tourism on rural livelihoods in protected areas. His research is underpinned by comprehensive fieldwork and robust data analysis, reflecting his commitment to contributing valuable insights to the field of social anthropology. As a social anthropologist, he is committed to the advancement of knowledge regarding human societies and cultures, with a particular emphasis on rural and tribal communities.
