Dr. Raghunath Satpathy received his M.Sc. in Botany (Specialization Biotechnology) from Berhampur University Odisha, (Post M.Sc.) Advanced P.G Diploma in Bioinformatics from University of Hyderabad, M. Tech. degree in Biotechnology from VIT University, Vellore India, also he was awarded the degree for the doctor of philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology by Sambalpur University, Odisha. Currently he is continuing as the Assistant Professor in the School of Biotechnology, Gangadhar Meher University, Odisha. He has 14years of teaching and research experiences. His current research interest is development and application of Bioinformatics tools/databases in the areas of environmental science and human therapeutics. He has authored  several international and national  journal papers, book chapters and two  books  to his credit and he is the recipient of many academic and research awards.
