Research Area
Inorganic synthesis and Application, Kinetics and Mechanism
The nature of the donor atoms, denticity, chelation, and coordination mode of a multidentate ligand in a metal complex are among the features that greatly influence the subsequent properties and, consequently, the applications of the resulting metal complexes. Focus of our group is to design and develop a chelating multidentate ligands and linkers for the synthesis of metal complex, composites and MOF for suitable application. Study of Kinetics and mechanism of the redox and ligand substitution reaction at metal centre in a complex of biological and environmental significance.
