About

 Dr. Sujit Kumar Jally has been a member of the School of Geography, Gangadhar Meher University since 2020. Prior to joining this institution, he served as a research associate in the Sampal Survey Division at the Indian Agricultural Statistical Research Institute in New Delhi, India, from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Sujit Kumar Jally earned his Ph.D. in Geography from Ravenshaw University in 2018. During the years 2012 to 2018, he pursued his Ph.D. studies at Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (ISRO), Dehradun, where he was affiliated with the Marine and Atmospheric Sciences Department Dr. Sujit has gained valuable experience as a research scholar at the Marine and Atmospheric Sciences Department, Indian Institut e of Remote Sensing in India and the University of Twentee, Enschede, Neitherland. He also attended the European Geoscience Union General  Assembly in Vienna, Austria, in 2019. Additionally, Dr. Sujit holds a Professional M.Sc and PGD in Geoinformatics degree from University of Twentee, Enschede, Netherland. which he obtained in 2010. He completed his M.Sc. in Geoinformatics at Uttarakhand University, HaldwaniIndia, in 2015.  Dr. Sujit qualified in the national NET (National Eligibility Test) for C in the year 2012. His research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including Hydrological Modeling, Ecology, Geoinformatics, Oceanography and Disaster Management. Furthermore, he has an impressive track record of publishing numerous research papers in prestigious international journals and conferences.
