The school conducted Parent Teacher Meet 2023 with the purpose of direct interaction with their parents regarding focusing on syllabus which is based on the CBCS pattern, discussing with the parents about the academic performance of each student & taking feedback from the side of their parents
The library tour exhibit offers to learn more about the National Library, Kolkata. In addition, the students will learn about various kinds of services through its staff and how it helps users of the library.
School of Library and Information Science, G.M. University has conducted the extension programme at Netaji Subash Chandra Bose College, Sambalpur on 19th December 2023 in which the students of the School of Library and Information Science have made awareness of E-Resources and use of various Open Access E-Resources via PPT and poster presentations, where all the faculties of School of Library and Information Science and the Principal and other Lecturers of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose College were present.

University has conducted the extension programme at Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya, Rengali on 11th March 2024 in which the students of the School of Library and Information Science have made awareness regarding the promotion of reading habits via PPT and various poster presentations, where all the faculties of School of Library and Information Science and the Principal and other teachers of Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya were present.
