A Two-Day National Seminar on Man and Nature: Some Ethical Issues 24 -25th February, 2020

A two-day National Seminar was organized by School of Philosophy, G. M. University on 24th and 25th of February, 2020. The event was fully sponsored by Gangadhar Meher University. The main objective of organizing this event was to debate over our existential situation vis-à-vis nature and environment, development vis-à-vis conservation which have forced us to think of sustainability. The seminar also endeavored to elicit responses as to what is to be sustained? for whom it is to be sustained and why? Philosophical reflections were made to enquire into the possibility of saving the nature on rational grounds.
