Dr. Sanjukta Padhi, Assistant Professor and HoD, School of Psychology, Gangadhar Meher University, Amruta Vihar, Sambalpur, Odisha has distinguished herself as a teacher, researcher, counsellor with a brilliant academic career. She has been in the field of teaching for more than twenty-eight years. She has completed her B.A (1st class hons. with distinction) from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha and M. A, M. Phil and Ph. D in Psychology from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She has obtained her B. Ed degree from Radhanath Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, Cuttack, Odisha. To her credit, she has attended and presented more than two hundred research papers in different state, national and international level seminars, conferences and webinars. She has also contributed more than thirty-five articles to both national and international journals and books. And also authored two books entitled "Wellbeing of Orphan Adolescents" and “The Role of Need Saliency Theory in University Teachers”. Furthermore, she has delivered invited lectures and acted as Resource Person at different Educational Institutions. She has been a regular advisor to the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), Jajpur, Odisha. Being a life member of the National Academy of Psychology (NAOP) and Odisha Commerce Association (OCA), her areas of interest are Social and Organizational Psychology, Educational Psychology, Physiology and Comparative Psychology. An active practitioner of family counselling, career counselling and was involved in the psychosocial counselling process during COVID-19 Pandemic. She is the recipient of “Author of the Year Award- 2023”, “Educator of the Year Award-2023”,  “Assistant Professor of the Year Award- 2023” and "Ravindranath Tagore Literary Award- 2024" conferred by CKNKH Foundation and has also convened many seminars/ webinars/ extramural lectures and conferences etc. during her academic career.
