Gangadhar Meher University (Earlier it was Gangadhar Meher (Autonomous) College, NAAC A) always give emphasis on quality education and research in the campus since it’s inception. The IQAC was established in the year 2018 with an objective of ensuring quality education and research in the campus. IQAC since its inception always thrive towards attaining specific futuristic goals in line with the Mission of the University through some well-defined key quality benchmarks.

Objectives:

  • To identify some specific quality indicators for academic and administrative activities and periodically review their relevance.
  • To set up a systematic process in academics and administration.
  • To evaluate academic and administrative activities of the Institute through some well-defined quality indicators.
  • To analyse the feedbacks of all stakeholders to identify and implement effective inputs.
  • To envisage the effectiveness of different technical and behavioural themes for organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars.
  • To develop an individual smart documentation system for different programs and activities of the Institute.
  • To emerge as a centre for quality and excellence for imparting good practices in the Institute and neighbourhood society.

Functions:

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks.
  • Setting parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  • Collection and analysis of feedback from all the stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
  • Organization of intra- and inter-institutional workshops and seminars on quality- related themes and promotion of quality circles.
  • Documentation of various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
  • Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of the best practices.
  • Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audits along with their follow-up activities.
  • Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per the guidelines and parameters of NAAC.
  • IQAC coordinates and monitor Rankings o f the University at different platforms.
