About the Journal

SRADDHA, a Peer Reviewed Sanskrit Journal of Oriental Studies was first introduced on 2010 published by P.G. Department of Sanskrit, Gangadhar Meher Autonomous College, Sambalpur. Prof. Sulok Sundar Mohanty and Dr. Trilochan Behera were the Editors of First Volume of Sraddha. This Volume contains Seven Research Papers with 62 pages.

Sraddha (Volume-II) was published on 2011 and edited by Prof. Sulok Sundar Mohanty, Dr. Subash Chandra Dash and Dr. Trilochan Behera. It contains 14 Research Papers and 104 pages.
Then Third and Fourth Volumes of Sraddha were published in the year 2012 and 2013 with ISSN N0.- 2321-273X ), edited by Dr. Harekrishna Meher, Associate Professor, P.G. Department of Sanskrit, Gangadhar Meher Autonomous College, Sambalpur. These Volumes contain 15 Research Papers with 136 pages.

After that Sraddha was discontinued due to lack of permanent faculties in P.G. Department of Sanskrit, Gangadhar Meher Autonomous College, Sambalpur.

After the gap of the three years, Fifth and Sixth Volumes of Sraddha were again published in the year 2017 and 2018, edited by Dr. Rakesh Kumar Mishra and Sri Dharmaraj Bag. It contains 27 Research Papers with 117 pages.

Again after the Covid Pandemic situation, the Dept. of Sanskrit, G.M. University is going to publish VII, VIII, & IX Volumes of Sraddha with the able editorship of Dr. Suneli Dei ( Chief Editor) Assistant Professor and Head, School of Sanskrit, Dr Harekrishna Meher, Retd. Associate Professor of Sanskrit, Gangadhar Meher Autonomous College, Sambalpur. Dr. Sashibhusan Mishra, Associate Professor of Sanskrit, Sri Sitaram Vaidic Adarsha Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Kolkata, Dr. Sushree Sasmita Pati, Assistant Professor, School of Sanskrit, Dr. Prasanta Kumar Sethi, Assistant Professor, School of Sanskrit, Dr. Sala Besra, Assistant Professor, School of Sanskrit.

For the betterment of Sanskrit, the present Editorial Board is humbly requests you to share your deep Academic original thoughts in the form of an article as you are the Expert in Oriental Studies .
